Stacey Vidt


Stacey Vidt began her running career at Hampton High School in Allison Park, Pennsylvania, where she was a 2-time MVP in cross-country and a 4-time MVP in outdoor track

Stacey continued her running career throughout college at Virginia Tech where she was named MVP for cross-country in all 4 of her years of competition. She made numerous all-conference teams in a variety of track events. In addition, Stacey qualified for the NCAA Championships in cross-country her senior year and ran NCAA provisional qualifying performances in multiple track events during her college career.

Stacey began training for the marathon distance after graduating from Va. Tech. She has competed in the Cleveland Marathon in both 2005 and 2006. In addition to her career as an athlete, Stacey also serves as an assistant cross-country and track and field coach at Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, Virginia.
