Steve Crowder


Steve Crowder did not begin his racing career until he began competing in cross-country and track at Roanoke College in Salem, Va. Having not run competitively in high school did nothing to slow Steve down, however. While at Roanoke College has was a stand-out performer in cross-country and the distance events in track. Steve's running career at Roanoke College was capped off with him being awarded with the C. Homer Bast Outstanding Performer in Track and Field Award.

After graduating from Roanoke College, Steve began competing prolifically on the road race circuit across the South-Atlantic region. Steve's road racing performances earned him a 2nd Place Overall Finish in the 21st Annual Running Journal Grand Prix series and a 1st Place Overall award for the Fredericksburg Area Grand Prix series. Steve's prolific road racing career includes overall victories in over 100 races!

In addition to Steve's numerous road racing victories, he is also the Virginia State Record holder for the 12Km distance.

Steve continues to focus on moving up in distance and has his sights set on racing at the marathon distance in the future.
