Mike Cox

Background

Mike Cox's impressive running career dates all the way back to his days as a high school track and cross-country athlete where he was a 9-time State Champion, as well as a High School All-American in cross-country.

Mike continued his competitive career throughout college at Virginia Tech where he earned multiple all-conference honors, won 3 individual conference titles and competed for the U.S. Track and Field team at the '94 World Junior Cross-Country Championships

Mike has continued to compete in cross-country, track, and road events after graduating from Va. Tech. In addition to his work as an athlete, he is also the head cross-country and track and field coach at Concord University in Athens, West Virginia.
