I am a competitive athlete and coach, with an educational background in biology and exercise physiology, who has been involved in competitive running for over 30 years as an athlete and for almost 20 years as a coach. I competed in distance events throughout high school and college, and I have since moved up to ultrarunning events.
My career highlights include:
- 5th-Place Overall Finish at the 2006 IAU World 100Km championship event (Misari, South Korea)
- 4 Top-10 Finishes ('04-'07) at the IAU World 100Km event
- 2000 USATF 100Km National Champion (Pittsburgh, PA)
- 8-Time U.S. National Track and Field Team Member
- 21st-Place Overall Finish at the 1996 Olympic Trials Marathon (Charlotte, NC)
- 8th-Place Overall Finish at the 1993 World University Games Marathon (Buffalo, NY)
- 4th-Place Team Finish at the 1987 NCAA Cross-Country National Championships
