A Good Start 

Helene Strutko (Harvey’s Lake, PA) finished 5^th at Sunday’s Sick Trail Run in
Millville, PA.  Helene finished 22^nd overall out of 68 finishers over a very tough 4 ½ mile trail course.

Back in the Game       

Jorge Pardo (New York, NY) proved he was back near top form with his 1:11:50 performance good for 7th place at Saturday’s New York Road Runner’s Club Half Marathon Grand Prix in Central Park, New York City.  Jorge’s time was just over one minute faster than what he ran last year.  Jorge led his team, Urban Athletics to a third place finish.

Jorge and Howard were teammates and training partners in the mid-to-late 80’s at Virginia Tech and following graduation in Blacksburg, VA.
